Who is Operation Blessing?

Operation Blessing is the humanitarian arm of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) with its headquarters located in Virginia, U.S.A.  It was established in 1978 and has already served in relief and development works in 105 countries, with over 200 million beneficiaries and funding amounting to over USD 3 Billion. Operation Blessing started its services in China in 1999, with offices set up in Beijing, Hong Kong, Lanzhou, Chengdu, and Guizhou.

 

Our Mission

Operation Blessing is a Christian Organization which cares for disadvantaged communities. To reveal Jesus Christ’s unconditional love, we support them with mercy and caring heart, so that their lives can be improved. We make good use of the funds received, and strive to foster the communications among sponsors and beneficiaries.  Through quality project management, the funds are utilized to help the neediest people to the greatest extent.

 

Scope of Services

Healthcare: Provide free-of-charge surgeries, health checks, and consultations.

Water Cellars: Build water tanks and cellars for the villagers, who used to bring water from far away sources.

Sanitation: Construct toilets for the villages in order to improve their hygiene.

Safe housing: Use bricks to build stronger village houses to replace the dilapidated ones which are made of hay.

Education: Offer study and living expenses subsidies to senior high school students.

Livelihood: Provide modified and quality seeds to increase the harvests and income of farmers.

Disaster reliefs and distributions of donation-in-kinds.

We are a tax-exempt charity under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance of Hong Kong.  Our reference number is 91/8399, and the official receipts issued are tax-exempted.
